Magic Eye Friday, a bit early...

We're taking the kids to Legoland tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to prising my fingers away from the keyboard and having some fun. BUT, I couldn't go without leaving a Magic Eye for those of you who enjoy them. It's a pretty good one this week, even if I do say so myself... ;o)

Andrews McMeel Universal

How did they get it to shimmer? Marvellous!!

That magic eye caught me off guard. Very clever. :)

I never get tired of those things.

Hi, FE!

It's not as easy to see as the others (for me, anyway), but it is pretty spectacular!

Very clever indeed. (And I always feel a sense of smug self-satisfaction when getting it)

Have fun at Legoland!!

Thanks, Miss Cole!

Hopefully we won't get terrorised by wasps, like last year...

I always feel a bit smug too -apologies to anyone who can't see them :o/

that one took me a bit to get! love the magic eye posts -- takes me back to the 90s every time I see one :)

I know, it's like 'can't see it, can't see it...wham! Oh there it is.'

I can't see anything:-(
What do you see?

Hm, it still looks like a rippling river to me. :)

OK, I got close this time - the picture started to get all wavy and I thought it was going to work, but, sigh, still nothing. I will not give up, though!

Have fun at Legoland!

The image isn't loading for me! But oh my god I LOVE those. I always felt special because I could see them :)

Lisa, Laila, Crystal & Liz

I'm sorry you can't see it - I hope I'm not causing frustration and you won't boycott my blog!

It's an eye - maybe the magic eye itself...?

Have a great weekend!!

I can't see it which is really annoying haha! but I stumbled across your blog today and read the first few chapters of your book and I didn't stop until I ran out! Lovely writing, this is just the sort of thing I like, will definitely be wanting to get my hands on the rest of it! :)

Amazing, this one took me few minutes to get. I thought maybe my eyes were a bit tired (forgot to take my lenses out last night, uppss...obviously nothing to do with having too much drink and completely forgetting about them!)
But then seen others comments and it looks like everybody nedeed that extra time to see it.
Hope you had a great time at Legoland (o:

Hi, Sarah

Sorry you can't see it :o(

I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed my opening chapters - it's always good to get feedback (especially positive!!) Thanks.

Amanda Leigh Cowley said...

Hi, Tess!

Your poor eyeballs...! Glad you managed to see it though - I'll have to search far and wide to find one as good for next week.

Legoland was great, thanks. Beautiful weather and hardly any wasps - result!

Miss Cole said...

Oh, hope you stayed wasp free!

And while I'm here, let me drop off some awards! YAY! :D

Amanda Leigh Cowley said...

Miss Cole - the wasps left us alone I'm pleased to report.

And thank you so much for the awards!!

As a soldier in the writer campaign, I salute you.

Nice try with that "magic eye" hoax. I know that there isn't really any image in them and the point is just to eyestrain poor fools like myself. I must admit, you all have done a great job pretending. Very convincing indeed. ;)

Best wishes on your writing.

Hi AE Marling,

Awww, you sussed me out. ;o)

We used to have some of these under glass on a coffee table. Not a great place to do homework on. It messes with ya. I'm glad I found your blog! :)

Amanda Leigh Cowley said...

Hi, David - thanks for following.

Yeah, I agree, that would be way too distracting!

Brenda Sills said...

Oh my, I can't do these things - I'm cursed I tell you! But what a fun idea for a post.

I'm a fellow campaigner in Fantasy and YA. I'm not in your groups, but I wanted the fun of getting to know more writers. It's so great to meet you!

It'll be fun to come back and read the first few chapters of your book. And your tagline goes fantastic with your book title!

Amanda Leigh Cowley said...

Hi, Brenda - good to meet you. Sorry for the frustrating Magic Eyes - not so much fun when you can't see them.

Sherry Isaac said...

Hello Amanda, Waving hello from Campaign.

Phew, there are other people in the world who can't see these things either.

Hope you'll stop by Romance & Beyond.

Amanda Leigh Cowley said...

Hi, Sherry *waves back*

Sorry you can't see it :o( I think I will post one of those with the 2 red dots next week, because it's supposed to be easier to see :o/

Will pop over and check out your blog now :o)
