Magic Eye Friday, Spooktacular Reading Challenge and Follow Friday

It's Friday again, so it's time for another Magic Eye! This one has a hidden image that you should recognise. If we took on board the advice it portrays - wouldn't our books be boring?!

I've just signed up for fellow writer, Marie Landry's (Ramblings of a Daydreamer) Spooktacular October Paranormal Reading Challenge. To take part you have to read and review three paranormal books during the month of October for the chance to win a prize. Click the badge in my sidebar for more details.

And last but not least, more Follow Friday Fun hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Visit either blog for details, and check out this week's featured bloggers on each of the girls' sites!

This week's question: Do you have a favourite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep revisiting it.

My series would have to be Twilight - sorry, nothing out of the ordinary I know, but reading that series inspired me to finally write my own book. Can't wait to see Breaking Dawn in November..!

Have a great weekend one and all!

  3. Twilight seems to be a popular answer! I miss re-reading books though. Definitely going to have to start doing it again. Way too many I'd love to revisit.

Thanks for stopping by mine. :)

  4. My fave series is a paranormal romance by JR Ward - the Black Dagger Brotherhood novels. I love the heart-pounding action, the grittiness of her characters, her sense of humour, and of course the love stories. These books are a little slice of awesome.

It's just having the time isn't it? Any networking I do eats into my writing time - I wish someone would invent a way to have more hours in the day!

I keep seeing that series featured in Listopia on Goodreads. You've convinced me to add them to my TBR list!

  9. I re-read Juliet marillier's Sevenwaters trilogy once a year. She's so good at what she does. And Jane Austen, of course.

  10. What are you apologizing for? I LOOOVE Twilight too, and I have to admit that I've probably re-read the series more times than I can count! x)

  13. Ooh, clever magic eye!

I love to reread His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. I read it every winter because I love the adventure and the passion and every time I read it, I find something new.

When I want something action-packed, I'll either go for the Alex Rider series or Charlie Higson's Young Bond and The Enemy series'.

  14. I always look forward to your Friday magic eye!

Two series I can't stop reading: "The Black Jewels Trilogy" by Anne Bishop and "Kushiel's Legacy" by Jacqueline Carey.

  16. I'm so thrilled that you joined my challenge Amanda! I had secretly hoped you would, but didn't want to ask! haha. I have Soul Protector on my list for October reads...maybe we could talk about doing a guest post or interview or something to go along with the review? Just for extra exposure. Let me know if you're interested.

I've seen a lot of Twilight today...that and Harry Potter, which was my answer. It's kind of nice to finally see people admitting they like Twilight again! lol ;-)
